WHAT IS THE FRIENDS OF LEIGH SQUARE SOCIETY?
The focus of our non-profit society is to stimulate the arts in Port Coquitlam by supporting the Leigh Square Community Arts Village. The Village will provide a dynamic venue for community members and artist creatively in art and heritage activities.

MISSION
The Friends of Leigh Square is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the City of Port Coquitlam's Leigh Square Community Arts Village in order to stimulate arts based community development in Port Coquitlam.

WHAT DO THE FRIENDS DO?
Promote Arts and Heritage
Create a vibrant centre for the arts.

Host Village Events
Host events and recruit volunteers.

Design Exhibits
Work with the community to organize art exhibits, select themes and artwork, and help with exhibit setup.

Raise Funds
Raise funds to contribute to Village capital and programme needs.

Develop Ideas
Provide ideas to help City staff plan programmes for the Village.

Connect With Other Groups
Liaise with other arts organizations and contribute to the development of the regional arts network.

Educate
Promote public awareness of arts and culture.
